Registration & Costs

How do I register for CDA Presents?
How much does it cost to attend?

Registration fees are waived as a CDA benefit for our members; the fee for non-member dentists in California is $905; the fee for staff members (including RDH, RDA and DA) is $40; and the fee for out-of-state ADA members is $240, for non-ADA members, the fee is $905.

Is there a deadline to register?

Registration will not close and will stay open 30 days after the convention for On Demand courses.

Do I need to register for workshops and lectures?

All workshops and lectures will be ticketed for the convention. You are able to register for the courses through the registration page and pay the according fees associated with them. Please reference the registration platform for the individual fees.

Can I register on site of the convention?

Registration must be completed online in advance as no on-site registration will be available.

Educational Programs and Earning C.E. Credits

How many C.E. credits can I receive if I attend the convention?

Presents has multiple opportunities for you to obtain C.E. credits; however, the Dental Board of California regulates 8 hours of C.E. (1 C.E. credit = 1 Hour) in one day.

What is the course lineup for CDA Presents?

CDA introduces new courses and programs at every event. See program details for the current Workshops, lectures and virtual courses.

Why am I being declined access to a virtual or in-person classroom?

While most of the courses are offered at no cost to CDA members, all courses must be registered for in advance. There are few courses and virtual bundles that require a fee and, therefore, must be registered and paid for prior to classroom entry.

There will be a stand-by option at the course rooms that will allow you into the room if a ticketed attendee does not enter the room by the course start time. Stand-by lines do not guarantee access into the course.

Will the virtual course speakers be streaming live?

Many sessions will be pre-recorded and be presented in their allotted time. Others will be streamed live, so you will see and hear the speakers in real time. There will be a live Q&A session at the end of each course.

Will I be able to earn “live” C.E. credit for the virtual courses?

There will be many programs at CDA Presents, including live courses and self-study courses. View the course schedule for more information.

I am not able to hear the virtual presentation, how can I adjust the volume?

Please ensure you are running a system check each time you log into the virtual platform and turn any pop-up blockers off on your system and any anti-virus software. Chrome and Firefox are the best browsers to use as Safari is not supported.

Am I able to add or swap courses after I have registered for them?

You can swap courses in the registration dashboard if the course has not started. To do so, go through your confirmation email and select the option to edit your registration. Once you get to the course listing, use the boxes to the left to unselect the course first and add another. The platform will not allow you to add overlapping courses to your listing.

How do I access the virtual platform?

Please check for the virtual convention link on your confirmation email or communication that was emailed directly from CDA. The virtual platform will not be available to attendees until the day of the convention and will close 30 days after the convention (Monday, October 11).

Certificates and Surveys

How will I be able to provide feedback on C.E. courses?

After the courses end you have the opportunity to submit your feedback by surveys. Surveys are not mandatory for C.E. but encouraged to provide feedback to the speakers and future course selections.

When will the C.E. transcripts be available?

C.E. transcripts for the virtual convention will be made available through your login at approximately 3 to 4 weeks after the event.
